NUPTIA (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the NUPTIA platform, a wedding planning management tool for professional planners and their clients. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service. Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the platform.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you access the platform, we may automatically collect:
- IP address and general geographic location (country/region).
- Browser type and version, operating system, and device type.
- Pages visited, features used, time spent, and clickstream data.
- Error logs and performance metrics via our monitoring services (Sentry).
1.3 Cookies and Local Storage
We use browser cookies and local storage to maintain your login session, store UI preferences, and remember your testing configuration. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may affect functionality.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account and provide the services you request.
- Enable wedding planners to manage weddings, guests, budgets, vendors, tasks, and timelines.
- Send invitation emails to couples on behalf of wedding planners.
- Send transactional emails such as task reminders and deposit alerts when you configure them.
- Respond to support requests and provide customer service.
- Monitor and improve platform performance, security, and reliability.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Send product updates and announcements (you may unsubscribe at any time).
We do not sell your personal information or the data of your clients to third parties.
3. How We Share Your Information
3.1 Service Providers
We share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist in operating the platform, including:
- Supabase — database hosting, authentication, and real-time features.
- Sentry — error monitoring and performance tracking.
- Email delivery providers — for sending transactional and invitation emails.
These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and may only use it to perform services on our behalf.
3.2 Within the Platform
Wedding data you create is accessible to the couple portal users (clients) you invite to a specific wedding workspace. Guest data, task information, and timeline entries you share with a couple are visible to that couple in their portal.
3.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, in response to valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of NUPTIA, our users, or the public.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active. Wedding workspace data (weddings, guests, tasks, budgets, vendors, timelines) is retained for the lifetime of your account. When you permanently delete a wedding workspace, its data is removed from our production systems within 30 days. When you close your account, your data is deleted within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:
- All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher.
- Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 encryption provided by Supabase.
- Row-level security policies ensure that each planner can only access their own weddings and client data.
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text.
- Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel only.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Update or correct inaccurate data via your account settings or by contacting us.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Portability: Request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection: Object to certain uses of your data, including marketing communications.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Children's Privacy
The NUPTIA platform is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete it.
8. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure your data is protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy wherever it is processed.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
